came to Competitive Edge Fitness seeking help to get in shape for
the 2011 Mrs. Wyoming-America Pageant. I had always worked out on my
own, but never got the results I'd hoped for until I started working out with
Arlo. He asked me what my goals were and took a genuine interest in
what I was trying to accomplish. Each training session I traveled
down for, he gave me a brand new workout schedule to do on my own at home. I
held myself accountable and didn't miss a single rep or workout in 7
months. I went down 6% in body fat just in time for the competition.
Arlo helped me by personalizing my workout schedules and with
the physical aspect of getting in shape and cutting body fat.
Brandon taught me that nutrition, and eating a clean, healthy
diet is an equally important factor in weight loss as exercise is. The
combination worked because now I am so proud to say that I not only
won the title of Mrs. Wyoming, I also recieved the Best in Swimsuit Award
and I could not have done it without their help!"

"I have been working with Arlo for the past four years. My goal was to increase my speed in the Wasatch Powderkeg, a backcountry ski race I participate in every March. One month after the 2010 race I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in my spine. My initial reaction to this diagnosis was that I felt like I had been kicked in the guts. One of my biggest concerns was what chemotherapy and radiation would do to my physical condition, which I had been working very hard to maintain. After talking to my doctor about these concerns, he told me I could do whatever I felt able to do during treatment. Arlo and I were able to continue my workouts throughout chemotherapy and radiation although at a somewhat reduced level. Some days I felt like I could hardly breathe, but other days I was amazed by what I was still able to do. I can honestly say that I never felt worse after a workout than before, and almost always felt better. I was able to maintain a good share of my condition by continuing to exercise, even though I lost strength and endurance. The mental benefit of being able to continue to work out was huge. One year later I am in remission and have regained all my strength and endurance."

"I'm training specifically for volleyball and have seen more results now than I ever did when I was playing in college. I played four years at a Division 1 university. When I was working out at the university, I was doing the same lifting workouts as the football team. This obviously wasn't optimal and I have seen changes now that I never got when I was there.
